SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hartford Cromwell

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom layout has a good amount of space but could be improved with a place for your phone near the toilet. The bathroom also needs more towel racks. The cubby space under the sink was great for storage. The sink faucet was a bit fussy but we managed ok. The bed was very comfortable. It was fairly quiet. The temperature was easy to adjust. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. The location is right next to a CVS which is very helpful. There's a Starbucks and shopping nearby. The included breakfast included waffles, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, coffee, tea, and juice. There were also other fresh options that changed daily like bagels, eggs, sausage and typical breakfast fare. There was lots of seating available and it had a nice

Little things added up to make our stay frustrating. When we checked in we learned there would be a $3 a day parking charge. We expect a charge in a city location but this is not one. Come on, this is just irritating. Next, when we tried to use the hotel computer we were told it was broken. In addition, all the ice machines had been removed which meant that we had to get our ice from a central one on the first floor! Finally, when our TV wouldn't work, the young woman at the front desk told us she would send up someone to help. A half hour later no one did and after calling back, she said no one was working that night! Marriott, you can do a lot better!

Hello, I am writing to formally report the unacceptable experience I had while staying at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott. I was displaced from my home at the Concierge Apartments in Rocky Hill due to an emergency evacuation, and your hotel was assigned as temporary housing. During an already stressful time, the conditions and treatment I received made the situation significantly worse. While most of the staff were kind, one staff member was consistently unpleasant and unhelpful. In addition, I had to change rooms three separate times because housekeeping repeatedly failed to clean my room properly. They would make the bed but would not clean the bathroom, remove trash, or even pick up a dirty plastic cup. I also had ongoing issues with towels. On multiple occasions, housekeeping did

Positive: The staff was perfossional and nice. Negative: The pool was cloudy. I reserved 2 rooms the room my daughter and her family were in the temperature control did not work, it took until almost 10 o'clock at night to get another room. Breakfast food not up to Marriott stanards.

Location got 5 stars as it was near where i needed to stay. Access to the location wasnt too bad but parking was poor/lack of, and back door was broken so i had to walk around. The designer did a nice job and could have been a nice hotel. Upkeep was poor and there were no decorations for xmas. Not required but is nice to see busnesses that care. I had to reserve 2 nights since they couldnt guarantee an early check in, not uncommon. They made a note for a red eye check in as i was coming in from out of town at 10am. I called the day before to make sure i didnt need to do anything. Guy said i was good and he made a note making sure it is not canceled. Got there in the morning after driving 11 hours straight, they cancelled my reservation and chrged me for it! After 10 min of back and forth,
