Customer Reviews
I would have given higher stars but I’m absolutely positively disappointed in this hotel because they DO NOT honor the late checkout standards for Marriott Bonvoy members policy. I requested a 2 pm late check out due to holiday travel and a business meeting that was moved back and Mary the front desk agent stated her boss informed her that absolutely NO ONE is to have a late check out. The Latest she could do was 12 pm and under no circumstances was she allowed to go past that. Anything over 12 pm would be charged as an additional night. Because of that I will NEVER return under those unreasonable conditions especially because it is the day after Christmas.
I booked this trip to bridge 2 events in NJ and was delighted at the spacious, cleanliness, and overall good vibe at this corporate-type property. Nikiya greeted at check in and gave me a goodie bag with 2 waters, 2 Quaker chewy chocolate chip bars and a bag of Sun Chips! She helped orient me to the amenities, breakfast service hours, 24-7 mini-mart by the front desk, and her friendly tone helped me feel welcomed. There is a fitness room with treadmills and a tiny pool you can’t do any serious laps. The complimentary breakfast is very generous, oatmeal and toppings (chocolate chips, raisins, etc), eggs, sausage, bagels and English muffins, fresh fruit, yogurts, large and mini waffle machines, coffee, etc. They have a 24-7 coffee station in the lobby, ample seating for breakfast, and a sma
Positive: "" Negative: This was a nightmare experience involving dog food on the floor, a clogged shower drain that the maintenance guy could not fix, poor follow up by maintenance guy who said he would be back multiple times and did not return, moldy shower and curtains etc
Have stayed at this hotel twice in the past 3 months, 5 nights in August and two rooms for 4 nights in October. The staff is pretty nice and the rooms look nice but the handicapped room has the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. One night was extremely noisy with a celebratory high school team, another with a wedding party enjoying their party at 3 AM. The staff was unable to quiet them|Worst of all, even with these fairly long stays there was no housekeeping service. Apparently they have a freshening service after two nights but we couldn’t see that anything was done besides emptying trash.
In town for a girls cheer(leading) event at the convention center. Hotel is located close to the highway. Arrived at night but it appears to be located in a nice office-like business district(?) The room had a lot to desire. In need of a deep clean. Stains ons furniture, carpet and walls. Chair had rips. Pull out mattress was stained, thin and lumpy. I end up putting it back in sofa position and putting sheets on the sofa and sleeping like that. I learned years ago that the Marriot name brand is not an automatic go to. I have had wonderful stays at Hilton brands including True and Hampton. For those wondering why I was at a MH, I was there as a 5th wheel. :-)
