SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston Riverview

My hubby and I did a two night stay for a pre-Christmas celebration and shopping. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and our room was a large king suite with a beautiful view. Super clean. It was located next to the elevator which I thought would be a problem but turned out okay. Free parking and a 10 minute $10-13 Uber ride into the city. Breakfast was great! Consisted of oatmeal bar, scrambled eggs, breakfast meat (one day bacon the next day sausage) a variety of breads, a breakfast sandwich and juices and coffee.We would definitely stay again.The pic is the view from our rom.

Spotlessly clean rooms and lobby, very good service by friendly personnel, and a location just minutes from downtown Charleston. I especially found this hotel to be well priced as parking does not come with additional charges like many hotels in Charleston. The breakfast is exactly what you would expect from Comfort Inns, Hampton Inn, Fairfield, etc. It's not worth your time but at least the coffee is good.

It is a beautiful hotel! Very clean and chic! Check in was easy and was able to check in early! I came with my best friend for her birthday and wanted to have a sign up for her in the room that I bought. I wasn’t going to have time to hang it. Tiffany and Darrel were very helpful and helped me while we were out and put the sign up and some balloons! Service is amazing and enjoying our stay. Thank you thank you!

Our stay at SpringHill Suites Riverview Charleston was unacceptable due to the overall lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel and especially in our room. Upon arrival, it was immediately obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. The toilet was filthy, with urine visible on the seat and on the bathroom floor. The bedding was also dirty. The sheets and comforter had visible stains and clearly had not been changed. When the air conditioning kicked on, there was a strong moldy smell coming from the unit. The carpets in the hallway were visibly dirty, and there were sticky spots on the floor that made the room feel even more unsanitary. Unfortunately, the unpleasant odor was not limited to our room. The hotel has been through a very nice refurnishing. The beds are very clean and comfy. Water pressure in the showers is perfect. The breakfast is fantastic (unlimited bacon). And the staff is so friendly. It's really easy to get to the hospital if you're staying for a patient like we were. We will be glad to stay at this hotel again.
