SpringHill Suites by Marriott Abilene

We frequently visit Abilene and this is absolutely the best hotel in the city. Rooms were perfect, complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the staff are top notch. The ladies on evening shift went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. My daughter absolutely adored Ms. Jayla. Hotel is walking distance to a variety of restaurants (highly recommend Fuzzy Tacos) and even a nail salon. We will be staying at this hotel every time we visit from now on. Room was clean and quiet!

We stayed the night in Abilene after an 11 hour drive (with a 4 hour drive planned for the next day) so we were pretty beat when we got in. Sierra at the front desk was such a kind and wonderful human who made the whole atmosphere friendlier. The room was clean and comfortable and every staff member we ended up interacting with was amazing. Would absolutely stay at this location again next holiday season!

My husband and I drove from Allen to Abilene, to attend a playoff high school football game. At the last minute we decided to get a hotel vs. driving 3.5 hours home after the game. We noticed a new Springhill Suites Hotel located at 2525 N Judge Ely Blvd. The service was excellent! However, Rocky and Christine stood out to me in the morning. Rocky made sure we knew everything was complimentary for breakfast and explained everything on the bar. He also went the extra mile when I asked for lemons. In addition to, cooling down my hot tea so I could make ice tea. They were both amazing!! Btw, The evening front desk crew was pleasant as well. Stayed one night with wife and kids. There was no hot water. He sent us to another room for showers in the morning. No hot water in that room. He sent me to another room. That room did not exist. He sent me to another room which finally did have hot water. Having to move family around for showers is difficult to say the least at time. Front desk guy said he'd fully refund. Charge for the stay went fully through after we left. I called and "operations manager" said she'd look into it and call back. Front desk called back a few days later. Full refund on the stay. Greatly appreciated and staff was very kind and apologetic about the whole adventure.

SEWER GAS!! It takes a lot for us to leave a low starred review. We have waited for this hotel to open for sometime due to its location. Upon arrival we were notified that we would be charged for parking. Then, hardly any hot water. Finally, the sewer gas was horrible as soon as you walk in and throughout the floors in the hallways. The staff was friendly, but stated they have gotten accustomed to it. This is extremely dangerous long term. At the level I experienced only a mild headache resulted. I hope they get this fixed immediately. I am not sure how the city is allowing them to be open.
