Phils Hideaway RV Park & Campground

Still shows KOA online but it is not. And it definitely isn't the service you'd expect from one. We arrived without a reservation and were thankful we could still check in after hours. However, one of the reasons we enjoy stopping at an RV park from time to time is to shower/use a regular restroom. No bathroom code available to those checking in after hours. The gentleman in front of me said, 'Good luck, you're going to need it." as he walked out completely exasperated. I also was treated very poorly and essentially accused of trying to stay without paying, even though I wrote my credit card down and provided the same card the next morning. Veteran owned/ran I believe. Only complaint is that the rv spots are extremely close together. We had to come down just 2 days for a funeral so luckily didnt need the space but still. Besides that, has a park for dogs, a park for kids, and all the workers seem nice.

When contacting this location, pay close attention to the manager’s communication style and business practices. Pricing changed multiple times during my interaction, including adjustments based on where I work and where I am from. I was required to sign a contract, which I have never encountered at any other property I have stayed at anywhere in the United States. Move in dates were restricted to Mondays. Pricing varied depending on personal details provided and was not consistent with advertised rates. Prices and discounts shown online did not match the “final” amount charged. I sent an email asking about availability and waited 2 days no response. No big deal figured they've been busy. Anyway my husband called today because online it shows availability for over a month for a rv site and we were looking to book a month long stay. The woman on the phone that my husband spoke to was very rude, we will not be staying here if this is how they treat there customers. There's no reason to be rude just over us calling and asking about a month stay.

We rented a cabin for one night. It was cute, very clean. Not having a bathroom was only downside, however, shower house was located very close and they were extremely clean. Location was perfect for us. And Great price!
