Ridgeview RV Resort

We made reservations on a Sunday for a Sunday night stay. Our entire experience was completed by their AI assistant. It wasn't bad, however, it provided incorrect information which affected my expectations. We were there for a stopover, which it advertises as an option. However, based on the amount of items outside of most campers, it appears that the majority of their renters are long term. That's fine, just be aware that the overnight spot is at the entrance. Convenient? Yes. But closest to the interstate. Their reservation app assigns your site. I tried to change spots, as there were several available, and the AI assistant originally said that we'd receive a call back shortly. I called again a couple hours later and the AI said there was no staff available on Sundays. I have no idea

I’m a travel nurse and have stayed in several RV Parks and this park has been amazing. I stayed here for 22 months! They keep the park very clean! The facilities are always clean and the pool area is very nice! They are also have an area to BBQ and it’s beautiful at night. They have a good dog park and they offer gas tanks if you happen to need one. The staff is very nice and they make their rounds frequently around the park. I always felt safe. My packages always got delivered with no problems.

We were in Abilene for a softball tournament and had site #89 reserved. We arrived at Ridgeview Rv resort (RR) and someone was in our spot. I contacted someone up front and she had to move me due to campers in #89 extending their stay. A bit ticked at first but she moved us to #101. (She did send an email, but I was busy and didnt see it before arriving).|Im not gonna lie, this spot was WAY better than #89, so I got happy quick.|The pool was nice. My family enjoyed it.|There are 3 bathrooms with showers. After swimming, my boys were in one and my wife and daughter were in another. I sat in a nearby chair waiting on them. We had a great one night stay as we made our way to Houston. Easy access on and off the freeway, very wide roads within the park and easy to get into your site. Nice pool, grassy dog park, very clean, quiet and close to lots of restaurants and Walmart. Booking online was easy and check in was fast and no fuss. Friendly staff and wonderful info for those arriving after office hours as well. As a bonus the sunset over the ridge was gorgeous.

We travel in a 41 ft class A, towing a car. We stayed two nights. We picked this park as it had a dog park and a pool. Dog park is full of actively growing prickers (goatheads) and the gating has gaps wide enough for a small dog to escape. Unfortunately pool not open until 4pm on Mondays, (our layover day) so we didn't get much time there. The office person with the key for the pool doesn't get in until 4pm. The pool was open Sunday with no one available in the office, so I'm not sure why the pool couldn't be open on Monday. Sites are fairly level and have good size piece of fake grass. The worst thing is that all the pull thru sites have a high curb to drive over and down onto the site. This may not be a problem for others, but when I pulled out the curb rocked the motorhome so violently
