Sportsman Inn

This is a comfortable and clean hotel in a convenient location next to town. The front desk manager was friendly, polite and efficient. The rooms are very clean and in nice condition. I’d recommend staying here and will stay here again in the future.

The town is a charming bayfront location with small a harbor and the ubiquitous shopping opportunities. Plymouth Rock is ………well, a rock. One of the locals asked if we were overcome with emotion. Right. The history of the rock is actually more interesting than the rock itself, which was moved numerous times and broke in half during one move. Come to enjoy the town which is very nice. If you can spend more than 15 minutes at the rock’s pavilion, then you must really like rocks (not withstanding it’s historic symbolism.

My husband and myself came down from Connecticut and stayed here for 4 nights. The grounds are meticulously landscaped and extremely clean. Our room was very clean and beds extremely comfortable. Kay the owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. His wife was also very helpful and kind. Nice picnic area on grounds with BBQ grills. If you have a dog like us alot of grass area to walk with them. Highly recommend this hotel. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

We were having trouble finding a place to sleep with good reviews with vacancy. Found Sportsman a little past 2AM. The person at the desk was amazing and incredibly pleasant. Our room was immaculate! The staff checked with us the next morning to assure everything was great and we were happy with the room and the few hours of sleep we got. Perfect place to stop with excellent staff and cleanliness!

Inexpensive place to stay, if you want a value, this is your place. Bed was not very comfortable. Water pressure is awesome, wall unit air conditioner works very well.
