Riverside Inn Motel

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! They are liars and will rip you off! Rooms are pathetic and they charge like they're new. Absolutely rudest person I've ever met! Stay away from this place. Charged my card and then instantly refunded me so I wouldn't be able to stay 1 night! Lied about saying she didn't know I made a reservation through booking yet my name was the first one on her phone when she was looking at the reservations! Then she lied about there not being any rooms available even though there was. Place is a piece of junk that should be burned to the ground! Now I got to wait 5 days for my funds to return to my card. If you don't want customers, don't run a business. Pathetic is a kind word to describe these people. So many good things to say about our fantastic stay there but what I felt really stood out the most was the customer service. The owner / operator could not have been nicer or more helpful and really made us feel very welcome! This is a dog friendly motel and had no hidden clauses or fees and when I first called and asked about the dog policy the owner simply stated we allow dogs :) that's our policy! The motel is a motel, it is not a Five Star Resort and was described perfectly. Freshly remodeled room, new beds, new paint, was really nice and much more than I expected. Everyone is sure to mention how clean the rooms are because ours was spotless, not a stain, piece of trash or any sign that someone previously occupied the room. When I arrived, the hotel had lost my reservation. They only rented me a room for the price that I had reserved after I dug out my confirmation email. The room they gave me smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, the sheets were stained, and the lighting was dim and dingy. The room was, however, very large, and included a refrigerator and microwave. Good location.

For starters I was coming through from wilson on the way to the beach so I decided I would check in for a night somewhere seeing as how it was 10:30 at night so I called to ask if there were any rooms available and was first ask my full name that's a first that's never happened. I just told the lady I want to know if they had any rooms available and a price and was told that she would need to get back with me about that.......um I thought that was very very odd that the lady could not tell me if there were any rooms available or give me a price. Needless to say after reading some of there reviews I'm rather glad I did not go there instead I found the sportsman's inn to be very accommodating and front desk was very nice .

Would not recommend staying here. Pictures of the rooms are very misleading. We left after only being in the room for about 45 mins and didn't even hassle with trying to get my $55.00 refunded. Very dark parking lot, the bed was a box spring with a 6" foam mattress laid on it. Room had a overpowering smell of disinfectant, toilet was leaking.
