Spider Rock Campground

Howard is an outstanding camp host and an expert 4x4 tour guide. We toured deep into Canyon de Chelly with him about 10 years ago, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. He knows the land, the history, and how to make every stop memorable. Highly recommended! He's old school and will even barter if your in a pinch.

It's an RV park so there's no rooms. Howard is the host/owner of the campground. He always responded to my questions in a timely manner and was Truly enjoyable to talk with. TBD campground has plenty of site with lots of space between sites I mean lots of space. There is a dump station and fresh water. I would recommend you fill your fresh water tank before arriving, only because Howard has to go to town to fill his 500 gallon fresh water tank. No electricity, I've used my Honda 2200i for power with no issues. The sites are dirt but level. The quiet beyond belief. The stars are amazing!!! Days are hot, nights are super comfortable.

Perfect place to park our camper van. You are close to the stunning Spider Rock overlook. Quiet and safe place for the night.

It was late in the day and this was the only campground we knew of. It was inexpensive and quite rustic. The campsite was pretty level for our tents and worked fine. The bathroom was interesting. Not sure if there was any water on site, but we had brought our own so we were ok. If you don't expect much, and are self sufficient, you won't be dissapointed.

This campground is amazing! Loved our stay here and will be back. Howard is great and had our spot ready for us. We booked a jeep tour through beauty way. Benjamin was our guide and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the area.
