Holiday Inn Canyon de Chelly (Chinle) by IHG

Clean, friendly, and affordable, this is a solid option for a hotel while you're visit the canyon. Didn't try the food, so I can't speak to it. The restaurant hours are pretty limited and there aren't a lot of other options in the city, so plan ahead.

My wife and I stayed there, as the hotel is right at the entrance to Canyon de Chelly. The grounds are very nice, the room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. The dinner was terrible - convenience store level, so if you stay on a Sunday, find somewhere else to eat dinner. Breakfast, however, was very good. For the price and convenience, its worth a look.

Safe clean lodging inside the park. Liked the vintage vibes with the brick wall. Shower was odd; I’m 5’8” and the shower was too short for me? People were great there and the hotel was comfortable and delivered.

Shower drained poorly, was up to my ankles with a very quick shower, and my sister didn't shower because it was not draining. Walls so thin I could hear neighbors conversation on one side and the one on the opposite side snoring. Food at the in hotel restaurant was only ok. Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. Would not stay here again.

Best kept clean hotel! The rooms have a sliding glass door. Only 2 floors. Super quiet. There is an outdoor pool. With handicap lift chair. FYI not heated. You can pay for breakfast by purchasing it with room or go to the restaurant and pay there. They have different breakfasts to pick from it's not a buffet. There isn't a lot of restaurants in the area. Garcia's is independently owned. The night we stayed it was closed for a wedding. So, I can't say how the food was.
