Spark by Hilton Orlando Universal Blvd

The place was clean and in a good location. Our check in time was 3pm we showed up at 3:15. They told us our room wasn’t clean and they were no other king sized beds available and we had to wait 30 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and the room still wasn’t ready. We explained we needed to shower and get ready for some scheduled plans and they just said sorry can’t help you but you can leave your bags. After another 15 minutes I asked if we would be reimbursed for missing our room time and magically it was ready. The 2nd issue is that our room didn’t have any hot water. We tried showering different times of the day and the whole 3 day stay no hot water. They texted us asking about our stay and we let them know. They said they would fix it but nothing happened. We checked in late at night, and the process was smooth and immediate. There was a free shuttle bus to Universal Studios in the morning, which was very convenient and allowed us to enjoy the trip without worrying about parking. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was included, which was a great bonus. Considering the price, the overall quality was truly excellent.

The hotel would be nicer if it had atleast a microwave in the room. The breakfast is as cheap as you can get with only a bagel bar option. However, the worst part of the stay is the riff raff front desk working after hours. The girls with the red hair (black & white) have got to go. Tricities is awesome and so is her mom, but the other two completely ignore customers and I have seen them go to the bathroom to text. Very unprofessional experience for a paid guest.

This hotel provides clean rooms, free breakfast, free shuttle service twice a day, and good service. We stayed in the king suite and it was very quiet considering that the hotel was packed. It's a remodeled hotel so some parts of the facility are old, but overall they updated most part of the hotel and are keeping it clean. Breakfast includes three types of bagels (plain, cinnamon raisin, everything), two types of Philadelphia cream cheese (plain, strawberry), four types of cereals, milk, almond milk, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, banana, apples, nutella, and two types of Folgers coffee (regular, decaf). The greeting from Jackie was superb. Our first time at the Spark brand visiting from the UK we were checked in early and upgraded to a one bedroom suite as a Diamond member. Room was clean, spacious and the TV was one of the modern Smart TVs hilton have been rolling out. The only slight negative was breakfast was carnage but this was no fault of staff or hotel simply the other guests. Also for a suite I feel there should be a TV in the lounge/sofa bed area. However we had a great stay and will 100% return.
