Spark by Hilton Clarion

Easily the worst Hilton experience we've had. There is no insulation between the doors connecting rooms, so all noises and conversations from the connecting room are perfectly audible, all night long. I'm sure this is a fine hotel if no one stays in the room next to you, but we couldn't sleep with our unintentional roommates staying up late and getting up early having endless conversations, and they weren't even being loud.

Positive: Location is good Negative: No toilet paper in the bathroom. No sheets on the hide a bed or any available. Low end furnishings.

We asked for a late checkout and were approved, which seemed great. Until the staff communicated it to no one. This was our first trip with our infant. The front desk girl did not tell the housekeeper about our late checkout out, so she walked in on me breastfeeding while my baby was sleeping. So she saw me topless and woke my baby up from the nap he needed. We then got locked out of our room twice because the front desk girl also didn’t fix the key card. Along with this, there was a dog HOWLING in the room next to us. This is after calling Wednesday to book and try and set up our late checkout out in advance. The guy told us we couldn’t until we were there in person. We check in the night before this whole fiasco and he was working and then told us it couldn’t be done until a manager was

Room wasn’t to bad, bed was comfortable. There was a lot of dust on just about everything in the room. The so-called desk with a chair was falling off the wall. One of my pillows had black all over it. Not sure what that was. Didn’t even try to have breakfast as there wasn’t really breakfast available. Definitely not your typical Hilton stay. As a Diamond Member, I was never offered water or snacks. I’ll go back to staying at the Hampton on the hill, thought maybe saving the company a little money would be worth it but I was wrong.

The room itself was simply beautiful! For a smoke free hotel though....our room stunk so bad of cigarettes and for 2 people who quit smoking cigarettes about 2 years ago ....just wasn't pleasant. I didn't want to complain to the front desk about it because the guy who was working was really creeping me out asking about my love life and if it was my boyfriend who was paying for the room just to scoop out if I had a bf....and everytime we came downstairs his eyes followed. My HUSBAND found it very disrespectful after awhile of him doing it. ONTO the breakfast part.... This hotel is already the most expensive in the area and it's breakfast was poor. If you are avoiding carbs...don't bother going down for breakfast....they only had bagels and muffins. Their juice tasted watered down and the c
