Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clarion by IHG

This hotel is seemingly brand new and spotless!|Very spacious rooms for a reasonable price. Bed was comfy and thermostat worked well.|Staff is friendly and works hard to keep the place clean; evening receptionist was mopping when I came in (snowy night, salt outside) |Only one lookout- breakfast ends at 9:30 am; I was down at 9:37 not realizing this- bummer. |Other than that, perfect stay.

When I walked in I was greeted by the front desk person with a warm hello and welcome. She gave me directions and a discount to a steak house nearby to grab a meal and was just generally very nice to talk to. When I entered the room, I was impressed by how clean it was and the size (corner room). I was surprised by no safe in the room - was my only initial surprise. When I came back from dinner, I could hear every word of the conversation coming from the next room and every step of the person in the room above me. Thankfully, they went to bed early also, so it was not an issue for sleeping. I did find something, I am assuming food, inside one of the pillowcases, but the rest were fine. Easy to find. Middle of urban area with gas stations and restaurants. Rooms large and clean. Bathroom was clean with newer faucets. TV worked with familiar remote. Nice breakfast. My late mother who worked for United Inns in Memphis TN, would have approved.

My family only stayed one night , but the hotel was so accommodating. Everyone was really nice, especially the woman that takes care of the breakfast area. She was so sweet and came over multiple times to interact with my kids. The hotel room was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was amazing! My husband and I are traveling for work and have experienced our share of less than great hotels, but not this one. The room was clean, king size bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was the best i’ve had! I would most definitely stay here again.
