Southland Motel

We've been here, Shannon Ward and I, 4 months and for at least another 3 months. This truly is a hidden gem located down town Atmore. Close to great places to eat and grocery stores The owner may appear unapproachable at times but he really is a nice guy who trys to keep the place up to date, painted, clean and bug free. The brothers and owners son and wife are very nice ppl as well. House keepers Mustang Sally and Shuffling Pam are great. If you ever get the chance to speak n get to know them, you'll learn they love to make you laugh n smile and try to make you feel like you're home. Bless those 2 women. Recently added a covered patio and benches for the guest grilling needs which doubles as a sitting/small gathering area. Reasonably priced weekly rates. The trains can become a bit much

Nice friendly man at desk. Rooms older but very clean. Would stay again

Owner is very disrespectful.. towels wasn’t clean as new. They was very used.. have roaches . Bed is uncomfortable

Very quiet motel little to no traffic but that damn train though will drive you crazy

Did have any roaches that was a plus. But had to buy my own towels and rags because there's were fit for an animal and had to buy bathroom cleaner because the shower was not so clean. And they also need betterbookkeepingg ontheire overnight stays if it's more than one night. And please make it known that you don't wanttheire room service. They went into our room after the fact he came beating down the door talking about pay or get out and we paid for two nights stay. Removed our newly bought towels and wash clothes. But if you know me, then you know they were returned
