The Good: Great/Friendly customer service. Location seems good. Free parking. I didn’t use the pool, dine, or use any other amenities so can’t comment on those. The Bad: The rooms are dated. It appears the last update was a bit like putting lipstick on a pig. I was not a fan of the long black hairs that I found throughout the room (on the toilet, on the floor, and in some pillows). I even spotted an old contact on the bathroom floor. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and they did not have feather pillows, however, the pillow protectors did have some yellow sweat stains! The rooms just didn’t have that ‘clean’ feeling or appearance. Cleanliness and age at my only complaints.

What a fabulous NYE we experienced! South Shore Harbor Resort hosts an awesome extravaganza for guests from the decor to the food to the entertainment. Then after the midnight toast, you can simply stroll to your room. It was great to stay overnight in a comfortable room, then enjoy a fabulous breakfast buffet on New Year’s Day.

Positive: The staff hands down. I had flown back on a very long flight from Istanbul and Isabella got me checked in to a quiet room to recover from the flight. Hotel employee made sure I had a great meal and fresh iced tea when I got up. Hotel employee is awesome! Negative: I love everything about it!

I am an avid traveler, and this was the worst lodging experience I have encountered. First, it took 15-20 minutes to check us in because their computers were not working properly and no one was available to troubleshoot. Then, when we finally got to our rooms, the heater was broken. This was already 10:40 PM at night. The front desk called the technician and the technician said he/she will not be coming. Instead, the technician told the front staff personnel to go from room to room to find one with a working heater. The front desk staff walked into our room and immediately exclaimed that our room felt like an ice box. We walked around from empty room to empty room until we found one that seemed to have a working heater. By the time we were in our new room, it was 12:30 AM. By the time we
