Customer Reviews
The Sonoma Valley Inn by Hilton worked great for me. I booked last minute and got a spacious room on the first floor that was actually accessible. It proved to be very convenient with grab bars in the shower and remote heat controls. The room was immaculate, sheets, towels,, etc vey clean. The best was the service at the front desk. Everyone from check in to late nite and breakfast were very kind and helpful. Location is great for walking to Sonoma Square or Whole Foods. Parking was easy and free. Price was not bad for Sonoma area. I will stay again.
Great location, very nice rooms, but definitely a MOtel by definition (door opens to parking, not a hallway). Noise from car doors, alarms, and traffic was hard to ignore since it was just on the other side of the door. Parking was also very limited. Overall, very nice motel.
We have stayed at this property many times over the years and always look forward to our time there. It used to be a Best Western and now is part of The Hilton Tapestry Collection. The Hilton upgrades are beautiful and very well done in both the lobby as well as the room. Staff (many of whom we recognized from previous stays) were courteous and helpful. We borrowed a wine opener and 2 nice wine glasses from the lobby to enjoy a bottle in our room, which was great! The room was exceptionally clean and well stocked and the premium quality toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue we had were with the bath gel and hand lotion pumps; which should have been replenished prior to our arrival. Since breakfast is no longer included with the stay, coffee in the lobby comes at a cost. It looked
Positive: Location!! And, quiet, comfy bed, beautiful pool/steam room/pool. Nice lighting in corner rooms! Negative: The room was freezing when we arrived and took about 8 hours to get up to temp.
We have always stayed here, back when it was a Best Western. We hadn't been to Sonoma in awhile, but on this last trip we booked here, since we liked it so much in the past, even though ownership had changed. First, the rooms are more expensive - I can say that the remodel is very nice. But aside from that, its become way too expensive, nickel and diming at every turn it seemed. Now they charge for parking! I don't understand this, it's not like the place is in downtown Sacramento or San Francisco, there's plenty of parking there. Then, I went to get breakfast and, no more breakfast included. Instead, I paid $17 for two small cafe americanos (which was the only thing they had besides lattes etc, and not very good) and one pastry.|The fireplaces are still there, but now, you only get
