Solinger's Resort

I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and I love it. Is it rustic? Yes...but that’s part of the charm! If you want fancy, this is not for you. The property is pretty and has a nice beach, the docks are well-maintained. The cabins have everything you need. Hot running water, beds, and a serviceable kitchen. I make the beds a little more comfy by bringing my own sheets and a quilt. This place is really what you want to make of it and the fishing is superb!

Lake Lida has great fishing and Solinger's Resort is in the perfect place to go fishing from. The cabins are well-kept and reasonably priced with many people coming from out of state year after year to Solinger's. They have boats, Motors , bait and life jackets. There's a swimming beach and a dog beach and they have free kayaks and paddle boats for use. Come go fishing with us

This resort has everything you need. There’s a little beach and swimming area and you get a boat and access to motors. The cabins all have a beautiful view of the wonderful lake. The area is situated near a town for supplies and even close to a small but fantastic zoo where you can feed the animals.

Have been visiting Solinger's Resort for sixteen years with several former colleagues. A good place to spend a week of fishing and enjoying the Minnesota summer. I recommend it highly. However, guests need to keep in mind that the location is more in the 50s' style than anything else.

There was nothing good about this place except the lake it was on. The cabins should be condemned - dirty, uncomfortable, and cold. The heater was original (from 60s) and didn't work, not to mention questionable safety. Furnishings were also from the 60s and terribly uncomfortable to sit on. Can't believe the cabins meet any kind of code. Our sheets were covered in cat hair and when called the owner he simply brought new sheets but didn't apologize. It was all very unacceptable at any price, but especially for $135 a night.
