Lakes Inn at Dunvilla

Robert was gracious and accommodating for our celebration of NYE and a milestone birthday. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lobby became a celebration spot. I did not expect the Sand Bar to be as well stocked as it was. None of us had dogs, but it was a relief to know that we could bring ours for future stays. Location was perfect for lake country. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a memorable night!

I was looking for a pet-friendly place outside of Detroit Lakes. This was perfect. We had finished searching for the Trolls and wanted a quiet place to rest up. Manager was helpful. Room was clean and updated. Easy to take the dog outside and there were even trees for him to enjoy. There were snacks for purchase and even fried pickles that were great! Hot breakfast available. I would definitely stop here again-

I loved this little hotel. Quiet, very clean, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. My only negative was the pool was small, and a bit cold. The hot tub was not hot. We reported this to the management and they were on it immediately. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were wonderful, very clean and comfortable felt like I was at home in my own bedroom. In the evening they had a fire going outside. The property is beautiful! Check-in staff was super nice. The only disappointing thing was the hot tub was cold. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Small hotel in a great location for visiting Otter Tail County . The bedroom was spacious, clean and had lovely decor. We unfortunately had a noisy fridge in our bedroom which we should have asked to be turned off. I enjoyed cycling in their gym which had a lovely outlook. We had an extra treat in the evening which was a fire pit set up outside with a pack of marshmallows each, just wonderful. The breakfast was okay but fairly basic provisions with coffee served from thermo flasks. having said that I used the waffle machine the first day and it was delicious it would have been even better with some fresh fruit and cream but the sauces were fine .
