Soleado Hotel

We were pleasantly surprised at the space you get for your money. The rooms are apartment style with a bedroom, bathroom, large closet and then living room, small dining area and mini kitchen (stove, fridge, sink, microwave) stocked with basic cookware. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach and has a number of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk in either direction up or down the beach. We did have an issue with hot water our first night, but we told the host and it was fixed quickly. There are lots of more expensive hotels around, and the area feels safe at night. For the price, this place was perfect

Easy check in. Manager and staff friendly and accommodating. Clean property. Cozy feel. Great amenities, loved there were beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. Daily service was great. Beach so close! We will definitely be back.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had an incredibly unpleasant experience. As a 21-year-old woman, I felt very uncomfortable both in the room and the surrounding area. The hotel felt unkempt, and I didn’t feel safe or welcome.|The real issue, however, was the front desk employee. She was beyond rude from the moment we arrived. When we requested a refund for the stay ( they only agreed to refund one out of two), she threatened us with additional charges if we didn’t immediately pack up and leave. She didn’t even seem to care about our concerns or explain anything clearly.|To make matters worse, 30 minutes later, when we returned to the room to collect our belongings, she walked in on us without knocking—completely unaware we were there. We were pleasantly surprised by how great the room was when we arrived. For such a reasonable rate for this area, you never know what you’re gonna get, but the room was quaint, pristinely clean, comfortable couch and bed. Pool was amazing, crystal clear and clean. Hotel is in close proximity to everything whether you decide to drive or walk. A couple of blocks and you’re right on the beach. The couple that run the hotel are on property 24 hours, quiet and friendly people!! If we make it back to Ft Lauderdale, we’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a pleasant surprise. It looks simple, but the service is so family-like, we felt very welcomed. The room was clean and the mattress very relaxing. We went in non-spring-break time and the place was quiet and relaxing. Very close to the beach and nice restaurants near by.
