Snooze Hotel

I have no complaints about the Snooze Hotel other than I wish it hadn’t been so cold the night we spent there so we could’ve enjoyed all of the great spaces and amenities! The room was even nicer than anticipated. Ours did not have a kitchenette so it was a little smaller but perfect size for the two of us. The location is superb. Right on the beach and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants nearby. They have a patio on the top of the building as well as the second floor I believe and both have great seating options to lounge in the sun and people watch. If it hadn’t been cold, we would’ve spent all of our free time there but we still braved it for a short while. Price point is higher than I typically would choose to pay but to be right on the beach it was nothing but fair

Positive: We loved the location and the staff. It has such a personal vibe. Room was dimple and clean. Water pressure and hot water made showering enjoyable. Amenities like wine and microwave and free beach stuff are a great perk. Watching the sunrise! Negative: One of us thought the pillows were soft.

I recommend Fort Lauderdale’s Snooze Hotel based on its price & location. The Snooze is a two star 19 unit motel built in the 1950s off of Highway A1A right across from the beach. Public balconies from the roof and second floor have excellent views of the ocean. The main desk is manned during normal business hours. Rooms are cleaned daily. If you’re on a budget, this is a good pick.

I'm not sure why this place has such mixed reviews? This hotel was fantastic!!! The room was clean and appropriately decorated. The rooftop has great views and even the second level deck was nice to hang out on. On the roof, there are lounge chairs, and these cool tall round basket things with cushions in them, that you could just lay back and relax in. The beach is literally across the street. This is a beachfront hotel! They have vending and ice machines and a washer and dryer, and I think a grill also. There are different areas to sit at little tables outside. They have beach towels, beach chairs, sand and water toys, and even Styrofoam coolers for your use. Parking can be a little tight, so only small/medium sized cars. Location was excellent right across from the beach. The complimentary beach chairs and beach towels were an added bonus. Friendly staff. Only complaint was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made the room damp after showering even when opening the bathroom window. Walking distance to many restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Check out the roof top deck as well
