Smoketown Inn

Seriously one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Creek view room was beautiful and clean. The bath was amazing and the view was astonishing. The care takers take serious pride in keeping this building together and it shows. Will 100% be returning.

The Inn's exterior is beautiful |The interior is clean and seating in the room is very comfortable but the bed is VERY firm||However : I went to the checkin desk the next morning to get a copy of my receipt ||The owner told me I didn't need another because they gave me one the night before ||I politely told him I had not, several times ||He was very disrespectful and in the presence of other guests. ||I thanked him as I walked away for calling me a liar ||Will not go back|||Oh, and cable for watching tv, has very few channels that people would like to watch

Love this place. Down home staff, quiet but really accessible to everything and reasonable pricing rather than the big chain places. Been back many many times.

We were a group of 9 ppl in 3 different rooms that stayed overnight july 2025 to see an awesome Sight and Sound show. I just came across my receipt, which reminded me to write this review to warn others. This is not the best place but its also not a completely run down motel so i'll be fair. From the outside the place looks decent, I might even say nice. The rooms, if you get an "updated" one, looks okay with their somewhat modern furniture, gray floors and lighted mirrors, etc. But if you really look around, its not cleaned well or renovated correctly. We were greeted nicely by the front desk and taken care of right away, but once we got to our room we noticed immediately the room had not been cleaned from the last person that had occupied the room. The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and well worth the price. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and repeatedly checked in with my friends and I. I was blown away by the staff (especially Kim), who was kind enough to write out recommendations for places to go around the area. That lady is the best! Highly recommend this stay!!
