Been staying here for years. Never had a bad experience. Staff is always accommodating and professional. Would recommend.

This place was a 1st and last time visitation. Very old and out dated. No televisions, refrigerators and heating systems were terrible. The rooms were Old and ancient. I was truly disappointed for the rates of charge. We were ripped off. This was supposed to be a spiritual facility. I dont recommend this fort on Oak wood . This part of the island was at the very end of the road. I have been to some nice places 🙁

Pretty clean and simply decorated. Budget friendly. Fort Caswell ruins are scenic but not recommended to explore inside because of its likely to collapse. Explore them at your own risk if you like. I like cross facing ocean. Very historic. Never been so far out from mainland. We passed the lighthouse to het there. Very windy and cold when we went. Enjoyed ocean views and our group visiting. Staff were friendly.

I am here for youth camp. Rooms are large but a little old. They do not clean them daily but plenty of soap and towels. Location has a great view of the water and boats.
