Smiley Creek Lodge

We did not stay here we rented snowmobiles. Check in was easy and all the people were very nice and help full. The conditions were very good, recent snow fall which helped. Area was very good for expert use and even for us as casual users, it was fun to follow the trails.

Our family had a guided snowmobile tour through Smiley Creek Lodge and we had a great time. The guides were awesome and the staff at the lodge were super friendly and helpful. After enjoying the great views on your tour make sure you stop at the lodge for hot chocolate and huckleberry ice cream.

This is a tough review to write. We traveled here with our 2 dogs to stay for half a week. We booked the modern cabins, which were really excellent mini-home style units. Comfortable, well built, and overall a great place to stay. Likewise, the restaurant was good, if a bit overwhelmed. The prices were good, and we were very happy to find a place that would take dogs.||Therein lies the reason why this isn’t 5/5. An employee of the resort has a German Shepherd. We met him in the restaurant where he mentioned that his dog isn’t friendly with other animals. This was an understatement. During dinner with a great outdoor band, the dog got out of the owners control and viciously attacked another dog, and our 2 dogs escaped our control and were running towards the fight. Cody, Ford, Jason and company showed us an amazing time! We were able to check in to our tiny house before our sled rental and everything went super smooth. Great staff, great equipment, and the tiny house was awesome! Our son had the time of his life on his first sled adventure and was over the moon to stay in the king bed loft! Hope to be back soon!!

We had a fantastic experience. The staff was professional, friendly, and took the time to make sure we were comfortable and understood everything before heading out. From start to finish, the process was smooth and well organized. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable snowmobiling experience. We will definitely be back.
