Sleep Inn Tanglewood

The locks on the outside doors were broken so the building was not secured. Carpeting was filthy dirty in the halls and in the rooms. The young man at the desk had to be alerted to my presence when I arrived to check in. He had ear buds in both ears and looking down at his phone. There was no water in our room!!! Fortunately, we discovered this after unpacking and not in the morning. Again had to get his attention as he was kicked back with both ear buds in and watching his phone. He seemed disgusted that he was going to have to give us another room. The new room was on a different floor and as far from our original room as was logistically possible. In fairness, the bed was good and comfortable. The sheets were clean. In fact, all the linens were clean and fresh. The breakfast

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. However, we did have an issue with not having hot water for a shower on the first day there. I told the front desk attendant and she said it's probably because they were so full and everyone was using hot water at the same time. I would suggest a better water heating system to accommodate large groups? Our room was very nice and I would stay here again.

The hotel needs a serious upgrade. Our room felt and looked very dirty. The couch had a rip in the upholstery, the TV stands both had parts coming off of them, the carpet had too many stains to mention, the shower head was loose, the walls had spots on them. The carpet was so bad we would not walk around in bare feet. My wife said she could not relax the entire time we were there and said it was one of the worst rooms we've ever stayed in. The staff we interacted with all were friendly and we didn't have any breakfast. We will very likely not stay here again until they fix the place up.

We stayed at Sleep Inn Tanglewood during a road trip and found it to be a mixed experience.||Pros:|The location is quiet, which helped with getting some rest.|The price was affordable, and free parking was convenient.|Cons:|The front desk experience at check-in was the worst of the 10 hotels we stayed at on this trip. The lady was unwelcoming, and it made me feel uncomfortable right from the start.|On the other hand, the woman at check-out was much friendlier and more professional.|Breakfast had a bit of variety, but the quality was poor, and the breakfast room was very small.|While it’s a budget-friendly option in a quiet area, the lack of warmth and overall atmosphere made it a place I wouldn’t choose again.

We stay at the Sleep Inn in Kernersville, NC and it is a lot nicer than this Sleep Inn. The rooms for pets shouldn’t have carpet and the desk clerks aren’t very friendly at the Tanglewood location. The back entrance door had no lock and anyone could walk in off the street. I doubt I will stay here again. For the price, I would expect a much nicer and safer place.
