Manager actively taking phone reservations while the facility is under construction and the pool is closed, with no clear notification to customers. The property prominently lists a pool and hot tub on reservation sites, but the closure is buried in the terms and conditions and only visible if you click through dropdowns during the final booking steps. When I asked the manager about the pool closure after seeing the sign in the lobby, she immediately told me they would not provide a refund. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. There were police in the lobby when we tried to check in, and the lobby itself was dirty with stained furniture. Overall the experience felt misleading and poorly managed. We have stayed here 5 times in the last few years. Two times there have been housekeeping issues- shower not cleaned from last guest, we had to have them come clean it. In Dec the first room I was given had the smoke alarm chiming every 15 seconds so I had to ask for another room, 2nd room the hot tub in room had a black oil ring all around but I was to tired ro walk back down to be issued a 3rd room. I left a note for the house keeping tho pix attached. We booked a room in Feb for 2 nights and had to endure construction noise (power saws, duct tape ripping, drills hammering, vacuums ect) well past 10:30 pm. We spoke to construction crew at 6pm and they said done in about an hour. They went to the room below us and kept going. The desk clerk said he would speak to the crew!?! Hmm we would

Positive: Very nice spacious clean room & comfortable bed. A short walk to Holiday gas station and easy on/off access to I-35 Negative: Limited staffing in AM. waffle and juice machines not turned on & chairs still overturned about 1 hour after breakfast start time both days I was there. The offerings were otherwise decent for the hotel rating. Active train tracks close by

The hotel had everything we needed including a pool and hot tub. But it could use some updating. Our particular room had some holes in the wall that had been missed but not painted. And one night the unit above us was leaking (running constantly from the ceiling) for about 15 minutes into our shower below it.

Booked on Priceline. We wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to check in and they are remolding. We were not told the pool was under construction. When we addressed this with staff we were offered access to the sister hotel 7 miles away. We refused and asked for a discount off our stay and was refused. We were told that we had to take it up with Priceline.
