Sleep Inn & Suites Ingleside - Corpus Christi

I stay at this hotel every time I go to this town. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfortable and they even have a bbq pit in the pool area. I use my own bbq pit I travel with but like the fact they have one. The only complaint I can say is the water pressure in the shower is low.

The bed was not made. The coffee, coffee cups, and water cups were not replaced. The housekeeper began knocking on doors and yelling “housekeeping” around 8:00 am. Both myself and the customer next door asked her to come back later. She appeared to be annoyed by the request. The next morning she approached us at the elevator, asked if we were checking out, and asked our room number. My goodness! I think we’ll stay someplace else next visit.

Convenience of location,10-15 minutes to the ferry. Cleanliness of the rooms and the property overall. But the main reason was the professionalism from the staff, as a whole. A special acknowledgement to Lupita, in dining room hospitality. Not only was she inviting, she introduced herself and gave a basic tour of what foods she was offering each morning. And to Karen, assistant manager. I can't thank her enough for assisting me with shipping my clothes I left behind, and following up with me to make sure I was informed of delivery. definitely won’t be staying here again. Rooms smell funny, my bed sheets weren’t dry all the way. In the morning house keeping kept trying to get in my room 4 different times in a hour after being told we are fine and don’t need towels, they won’t knock just barge in. The breakfast was cold and hard. It was 9:25 when we went and the lady seemed irritated with us, and kept wiping everywhere we went and even touched, trying to add pressure for us to leave. On the last night we kept having people, just trying to get into our rooms ( we got two rooms) and the pool and gym are small, fits a person or two.

Positive: Staff friendly and very clean hotel Negative: While it checked a lot of boxes, I would not stay here again. The doors have no sound proofing or cushion, and it was a constant banging of doors all night long. When the doors shut to any room, it sounds like cannons going off.
