Sleep Inn & Suites Abilene Near University

We are currently here and have 2 rooms. We checked in to our rooms by 2:00 pm. When we get to the first room the door is not shut and room is a mess, no sheets on the bed and had not been cleaned. Went downstairs and was told someone could put sheets on the bed but something about they left or something. Housekeeping didn’t get done with our room until after 4 only to be told we can’t go in there because of the amount of mold in the shower so the housekeeper had to use massive amount of bleach and it was throughout the room. Finally got moved to another room. The other room had tv issues and the girl at the front desk for a lack of better words is extremely lazy at one point asked me to take the master controller to the room and see if I can get it fixed. Had no luck and went downstairs

Terrible. When we first arrived, everyone in the lobby was angry. I really didnt think much of it. We checked in and was told our room wasnt ready yet. So we went on and ate dinner and went to the WHC rodeo. Came in at 11pm and went to our room. Beds were unmade. Towels all over the floor. Went back down to the lobby and told the front desk and they didnt believe us. Went to check our room and sure enough it was not clean. Came back down and told us sorry, they were sold out for the night. We sat there for another hour before he finally found us a room. Unbelievable. We checked out the next day and went somewhere else. The front desk clerks were dressed in street clothes with no name tags. Very unprofessional. I will never stay at another Sleep Inn EVER!!

Its fine. The breakfast is not the best, you can survive off it. The rooms are clean. You have to let them know if you want your room cleaned daily. There was a hobo camp in the parking lot.

I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I found this necessary. Late check in, the clerk couldn’t find my reservation. He found it eventually, all good. We get to our room everything looks…..ok. Room looks dated, but whatever I’m just sleeping there, right? Beds have 4 pillows each, they’re the size of throw pillows. But comfortable. I noticed the furniture looked a little dusty but I ignored it. I just wanted to shower and sleep. I go to shower. The toilet seat was DISGUSTING. It most definitely was NOT cleaned. Thankfully I had Lysol wipes and I scrubbed the toilet seat and high touch places in the room. I was too exhausted to deal with the drama of calling downstairs and waiting for a new room. I’ve stayed here in the past thought it would be decent but seems like it went very downhill. Room seemed to have not been cleaned in a month inch of dust on the night stand shower dripped constantly pillows were ment for kids. There was change in all the dresser drawers. Shower looked like someone used it and it wasn’t cleaned after stains on most of the linens. To worked but had no volume. Table had stains on it and sticky. One of the fire suppression sprinklers still had tape over it from painting from who knows when. Only good thing was the fridge worked great
