Sleep Inn Provo near University

So i'm reaffirming from another review that coffee and tea is available 24'7. That was the deal breaker that compelled me to choose this location. Their breakfast also includes: yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, toast/bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, waffles, juice. (Cranberry, apple, orange) and fresh fruit. They do make the effort to update the furniture and bedding. The carpet makes the rooms darkened and dated. Everything was clean and organized. My only complaints are: 1: The room smelled like baby barf 2: You have to swipe the key multiple times, especially on the outside doors. Besides that, my dogs and I enjoyed our stay. The outside includes a grassy location for dogs with doggy poop bags readily available. I come to Utah County often enough, so I would likely conside

I have now tried three times to fill this in. Every time I leave for a minute to do something else, my comments disappear. We had very good service from the staff. Breakfast was adequate. The breakfast area was too small. The location was convenient to all city facilities. The room was good, as was the quality of the bed and mattress.

Our experience at the hotel was frustrating and disappointing. Unlike our previous stay at Motel 6, which was fully paid through Priceline without issue, Sleep Inn unexpectedly charged my credit card upon arrival. The front desk clerk said he would charge the $93.79 Priceline price but also placed a $50 hold for incidentals, which he said would be released within 7-10 days if there were no problems. Positive: The bed was comfortable and breakfast was quite good. Negative: The wood around cabinets has splinters, the fridge was beginning to malfunction and had a big chunk of ice forming at the back, some channels has no sound. The hotel looked worn and needs a total refresh.

Room was super quiet and bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Only reason that its not a 10 is because there was a group of police harassing a guy down the hall from me. And out my windows I could see more police looking through a car. Police presence doesn't make people feel safe anymore. It makes people uneasy and hotels shouldn't so easily allow them on the premises because it makes the hotel look bad.
