Residence Inn by Marriott Provo North

I booked this place for a total of three weeks. Overall, the staff are really nice and very friendly, and I really like the location and my room with a fireplace. The breakfast selection is varied, and the shuttle service is very convenient. However, I do think there’s room for improvement in terms of hygiene. After sleeping in the same bed for two weeks, I noticed the sheets hadn’t been changed. I know this for sure since I am looking at the same stain for two weeks. I had to ask for clean sheets myself (which I got after a second time asking, but needed to make my own bed). The receptionist seemed surprised as well, which made me feel uncomfortable. Nice hotel, within walking distance from multiple restaurants, pirates studio, and Walmart grocery (not supercenter). Small indoor pool and workout center. Beautiful walking trail right to the property along the Provo river.

Positive: Great location Negative: Dated rooms and hotel-I slept great the first two nights but struggled to sleep on my final night there due to guests above me. Loud stomping and moving furniture around until 1am. Ceiling/walls weren?t soundproofed.

Biggest complaint is the AC fan is does not run continuously, so I was woken up by the fan starting every few hours (it’s quite loud). Otherwise, good location, bus stop is out front, restaurants and grocery store are walkable, and the rooms are well equipped for an extended stay.

We traveled with our pet and chose to spend a couple of nights in this hotel to escape the heat. The air conditioning worked without being loud which is something we can't take for granted these days. The kitchen was basic but had the essentials to prepare our simple dinners. Appreciated the regular sized fridge/freezer to store our food. The Fitness room was regular sized and had more than the usual threadmills which was appreciated. Breakfast was standard but nothing ever ran out and the staff were friendly and ensured the tables were clean.
