Sky Suites

Well. For starters it’s just across the street from the beach. The room is old . Like old furniture etc , the linens had yellow stains. Slept on my own I just settled because I didn’t feel like driving to my room in Savannah and I let it get to late otherwise I would have just left this place . Definitely needs some sprucing up. New paint ! New linens. New lights ! What in the scary movie is going on with the lighting. It’s so dim ! There is almost no lights at all . The tv and WiFi don’t work half the time. I just can’t believe this place is even over 100 a night. The front desk guy was really nice. I wouldn’t stay here more than one night. Ever. The best part about this stay was as bad as the rooms look it was overall clean and I didn’t see any bugs at all. If they would just

The rooms are definitely older don't get me wrong. We stayed in a none smoking room on the second floor. The rooms smelled clean when we walked in. The furniture was out dated but it was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the man who checked me in was nice. It's definitely an older motel but we have definitely stayed at worse motels on Tybee. I like that it's not near the pier and all the traffic that's down there. It's the cheapest motel we have found here. We stayed at one near the pier and it was 10 times worse hard bed and the bathroom smelled like suage. I went ahead and booked our room here for the 4th. If you want a modern updated room this ain't it but if you want a place to go to the beach and pool and have a clean, comfy bed this is the place.

The only thing I really love about this place is the location. 2ish minute walk to the beach. Can’t beat that! Kinda trashy place though. Smell of urine as we walked to our room. Needs a renovation tbh. No bed bugs tho that’s a plus and apparently we got lucky cause I read a lot of folks dealt with those. The TV is really dark and has white dots all over the screen not sure what’s up with that. I attached a pic of that down below. I booked the cheapest place I could find we were on a budget vacation. Was about $500 for 4 nights. Do with that info what you will. Overall, not terrible, but not great, it’s a place to sleep and makes for quick beach access. The lady at the front desk was super sweet. Hope this review helps someone.

I stayed at the Sky Suites at Tybee Beach. The room was big with a huge, very clean washroom. The staff was kind and promptly accommodated guests' needs. The wonderful lady at the front desk was especially helpful, even assisting me in arranging my ride back. The cleaning staff was also very friendly. I will recommen this place and my self will stay there on my next visit..
