Silverwoods at Treasure Lake

Our experience here was nothing short of awful. We followed every instruction for after-hours check-in — called multiple times during office hours, left two voicemails, and emailed with no response. My friend finally reached someone, paid the deposit, and was told there’d be a packet with our name on it for check-in. When we arrived at 11:30 PM, no packet existed under our name. We spent over an hour and a half on the phone with their “24-hour line,” got hung up on, and later learned the packet had been placed under a completely different name — which no one ever told us. When we called the next day to request compensation for their mistake, the manager, Ashley, was rude, defensive, completely unhelpful, and took no accountability for their mistake and lack of communication. DO NOT BOOK WOLF RUN MANOR!!!! |We booked two nights here and after driving 2 hours we arrived and the area is beautiful. It’s in a KOA resort area and is breathtaking. ||We got down to our apartment/condo…. SCARY. Walked into the place and it was so outdated which isn’t an issue. The issue was the spider webs EVERYWHERE! Spiders crawling in the bathroom. Barely any lighting and they had a chain lock on the door… there was deep scratches all over the door near the chain lock. The bedrooms looked so creepy! ||The porch was nice but that’s about it. |My kids were scared to death. Said it looked like we were in a horror movie from the 60s. They wouldn’t even sit on the couch they were so scared and upset because I kept saying how nice our stay would be. We didn’t even bring our stuff in. Loa

We booked this unit at Silverwoods because it was a quick trip for us to use our timeshare week. The location is nice, although it’s a drive to get to town. The unit was a little outdated, but it was very clean. The mattresses are very firm. The Lakeview Lodge pool was very nice. We also took advantage of the pool at the KOA which was nice also. There is plenty to do if you enjoy the outdoors and golfing. We would come here again.

We walked in there was a sticky mouse trap on the kitchen counter. We woke up Sunday morn to a mouse stuck to a mouse trap alive. We called maintenance. Not open til Monday. We moved it to the deck. Maintenance came Monday afternoon to a still alive tortured mouse stuck for more than 24 hours There were stains on the bed comforter that looked like blood that we didn’t get again til Monday. It sat on the floor for 2 days. The lock on the double bed room patio doors are broken. The blinds in the living room and bathroom vents are filthy The slats on the deck are so far apart you have to be careful where to put the legs of the chair so that you don’t fall In between the slats. The outdoor pool is 5 miles away. The lake is empty. So that was our vacay Won’t be going back

The unit was spacious and comfortable. While overall the décor felt outdated, the kitchen and living area seemed more updated than the bedrooms. We really appreciated the playground right behind the unit for our kids, as well as the indoor pool within walking distance. One thing to note: it’s a 13-minute drive from the front gate to our unit, which was longer than expected and made quick trips in and out of the resort a bit inconvenient. The biggest disappointment was that Treasure Lake was closed for dredging—something we weren’t informed about ahead of time. Had we known, we likely would have chosen a different destination. Thankfully, Bimini Lake (the smaller lake on the resort) was still open, and we enjoyed the small beach area there. We also took a drive to the swimming beach at Pa
