Silver Spur Inn

I stayed there for 3weeks and out of the 3weeks I had hot water 2days. No clean towels or bedding the owner and her daughter where so incredibly rude . When I asked for a refund they said no refund. The refrigerator in my room didn't work and when I asked for another one they told me I would have to give a deposit that was none refundable as well. You have to take out your own trash and clean your room they offer no amenities what so ever. I just moved to Canton Texas and I thought this would be a nice little place to get my darring boy was I wrong.. if I would have known how they do business I would have went eals where..

This is one of the best places I have stayed up there and never had any problems. They both were very nice never had bad service. It was the best I have had up o the mountain.

Was told when we got there AC had just started acting up and they promised to get it fixed by next morning or find us another room. Since the night was getting cool, we decided to go ahead and check. It was hot that night (no fans), smoke alarm ketp beeping and we had to get up and reset during the night, the fridge didn't work. The ramp to the room was tilted at an angle which was a real safety hazard. TThe next day, I checked with owner while we were shopping in Canton. Lots of double talk about AC but they said they were working on it and if they didn't get it fixed they would refund half of our money for the two days we were to stay. Well when we got back,, room was hot and room had been left unlocked after they placed two floor fans in the room with all out belongings still in the ro

Do not stay here. Our room was filthy. There were dead bugs in shower, dirty towels in bathroom hamper, and stains all over the bedding. Debra was kind until we asked her for a refund. She refused to answer the phone . This place was disgusting and we didn't even stay. Take your money go somewhere else.

The owner Debbie is very friendly and accommodating, she took us on a tour and showed us several rooms that we could choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were also plenty of amenities such as towels, fridge, coffee maker and a microwave. Would definitely stay here again
