The price booked through Priceline was not honored. They made excuses and offered a "discounted" rate. Which turns out to be the regular rate, and much higher than current. **The shower in the room did not work, so I sat in the tub to scrub myself in lukewarm water. There's no phone in the room, so mentioned it to the front desk when checking out. They were not willing to adjust the price. Only offered a discount on a return stay. Why would I come back to a hotel that doesn't honor the price, has a broken shower And is generally noisy. I recall the room missing a lot of the usual things you would expect thankfully I was prepared. The next morning there was people hanging out on the parking lot getting too close to my car like it was a swap meet. Odd. I would rather drive all night than go

Folded back the bedsheets and found a large patch of dried urine. Not to mention the overall filthiness of this room. It was late and I was exhausted, so I took another room here. The sheets in the new room were clean, but I had to have bath towels delivered. Apparently, the cleanliness problem is prevalent in the motel industry. According to the manager, the owner pay cleaners by piecework, so there is no incentive for the cleaners to do any more than they have to. If a bed doesn't look slept in, they won't take the time to make sure. And the owner doesn't care. He already has your money, ||I don't travel a lot. So, despite all the negative comments, my fiance and I were in need of a place to stay for the night. It was either the truck or the motel, so we chose the motel. After reading all the comments I was genuinely nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised. The man that helped us out was incredibly pleasant, The room we got was clean, and cozy. Honestly one of the first hotel rooms that Ive ever stayed in without some weird smell. Beds were clean and comfortable. The only thing Id be cautious of is that the hotel rooms DO NOT have AC . It wasnt the worst thing in the world, being that on the coast its generally cool at night. But the heater was running when we got in there so we had to leave the window open all night which was kinda loud. Again not the biggest deal ever. The rooms are

I was really hoping for a decent stay, but this experience fell far short of expectations. We were first given the wrong room — the TV didn’t work, the curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, and the room smelled strongly of cigarettes in a non smoking room. The front desk girl was incredibly sweet and helpful — honestly the best part of the stay. She quickly gave us keys to another room, but we had to move all our belongings, which was a hassle with two small children. The second room wasn’t much better. The towels looked like they had already been used and just hung back up. There is no air conditioning at all, which made the room unbearably hot in the middle of summer. The plug didn’t work for the bathtub, and the floors felt grimy. For $150 a night, this place is just not worth it.
