Sierra Motel

Stayed here for a week in July 2017 and now returned again for another week, August 2017. Owner's are friendly, Tim is great, super receptive and great communication! He takes great pride in his business. ||||Rooms are older, but well taken care of. Great weekly rates, rooms have kitchens and then some have micro-fridge. I prefer the full kitchens! Beds and pillows are firm, AC is good, but most importantly the rooms, bedding and sheets are all clean. The towels could be improved, some are older and not Soo sturdy, ie., worn out.||||Free Wifi doesn't work at times evening times, since the motel is really booked up, but daytimes it works good, my iPhone does have connection here via AT&T and works well daytimes and nighttimes. Although, you have to constantly re-log into the server

Had the opportunity to stay here when passing thru town, this Motel while being older has first class service and are very traveler friendly. I travel through this area often and will be staying at this Motel many more times in the future.

I Loved this Motel! It was Dog friendly, and I felt safe there. The managers, although penny pinchers, were fair and very practical people. I cared for them enough to leave my beloved plants with them. I knew they were in good hands. I actually miss being there! I can't say enough good about this hotel, and the family that runs it. I wish more people had the same integrity!

We spent one night there on our way from the Yosemite to California. The owners couple took the place over just a few days ago and were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and comfy and we found everything we needed for our stay. The room was quite despite the rooms next to us were all full and we didn't here street noise in the night. Even a coffee machine and a refrigerator was there and all this for approx USD 60. Maybe they could find a better place for the coffee machine as it was set next to the toilet.|We would recommend the place in any case for travelers that want to avoid Carson City's gambling crowds.

This motel gave me the 3 things I want most when I'm travelling: an impeccably clean room, a comfortable bed, and plenty of hot water in the shower. It's not fancy but is very well kept up for an older property. I thought it was an excellent value for the price, especially since they only charged $10 for my dog. I would definitely stay there again.
