camped here for many of years. Use to be called Little Bear and it was a spinner only lake. I saw my 1st Mexican Grey Wolf there in 2011. 3 of them, the leader was big with big shoulders. Walking around like he owned the place. Glowing green eyes. He came within 5 feet of my car. Beautiful site. They were not afraid of me. Honked my horn a few times and they just stared at me and kept on circling my camp. Must came this far because of the wallow fire.
So wonderfully peaceful. A good choice for Happy Place.
Great rural camp ground.
A fun place for a picnic.
