Aside from the rain . It is a beautiful place to visit. Water is deep most places during this drought. I did get to see some people pull fish out of the lake a+ fyi the store is never open ! And if you didn't already know this lake is on the reservation so you need the proper reservation fishing license.

Beautiful place, there's a big campsite in the area with lots of tables, we went here valentines as part of our white mtn getaway, lots of snow and there's one store but is closed at the moment, it might be open on during summer (I'm not sure tho!) Lots of fishes here so bring your fishing gear and make sure you have a permit!

I have been to this spot multiple times both times were good they have a lot of porta potty around the campsite with water spigot nearby I like that they have store inside the camp ground. The only thing that they change since the last time I went there is the camping permit they don't sell them there no more you have to drive to Hon-dah casino gas station to buy a permit and it's about 15 miles away from the camping site that doesn't make sense if you ask me.

This is the most beautiful lake! Camping spaces, one side, beautiful river scene on the other side, lake. Apen/ birch & pines.

Nice forested boondock camping. Water access is limited to a few spiggots that are sometimes hogged by other campers. No marked campsites, a few latrines available, no hookups, no elec. No cell. Dump stn $25. Get your permit at the casino. Pretty but very rustic.
