Shorewood Resort

Very impressed with Shorewood Resort. From our arrival until we had to leave, Jan and Rick were perfect hosts. Our cabin was very nice and clean, we were right on the water and we had a depth/fish finder on board our pontoon. We met fun neighbors and enjoyed the rootbeet floats and other sweets. Hoping we'll be able to return next year!!

Rick and Jan work tirelessly at manicuring the beautiful premises. They are friendly and always ready to meet your every need. Quiet, beautiful cabins at great rates, and they even host a root beer float night every Wednesday evening during summer. My wife and I have stayed at many different resorts over the years, and have never stayed at one that I could recommend any higher then Shorewood.

What a wonderful place. Beautiful, peaceful and well kept. Rick and Jan are great hosts and the fishing is awesome. The icing in the top was the root beer float social on Wednesday night with the yummy chocolate cake!! Thanks to Rick and Jan for an AMAZING week!

This is a fishing resort. We have stayed here for 3 years on a row. My group from Chicago love it. We fished off the dock and caught huge bluegills. There are northern as well. Reeling in a bluegill and the northern chased it and jumped out of the water to get it. Don't expect the Ritz, but expect a place to lay your head after fishing all day. The owners treat you well if you are respectful. They work hard to keep their place nice.

Our one bedroom cottage/cabin had a beautiful view of the lake, and the deck that was in front of the cabin gave us so much privacy which we loved. The fenced area in front was handy for our pet, as well. We were given a boat slip with electricity right below our cabin which was convenient, and it was safe and easy to get to. The hosts were very helpful and very friendly. The fishing was excellent! This was our first time at Shorewood. We will be back next year. Thank you Rick and Jan!
