Shore Plaza Beach Resort

We just returned home from a two night stay at the Shore Plaza. Sadly it was not a very good experience.The bed mattress in our room should have been thrown out a few years ago. The following morning I told the desk clerk how awful the mattress was. She said she would report to management. This was at 10 AM when we returned from the beach the manager/owner was at the desk and I said did you get the report that the mattress was almost impossible to sleep on ? Instead of saying to me , “yes I want to thank you for that and we will do our best to make sure that this is taken care of and no one else has to endure a horrible night sleep. “||Instead, she looked at me and said what do you expect me to do about this now, do you expect me to go out and buy a new mattress ? Have been visiting the Wildwoods my entire life, but never had the need to stay in a hotel until last month. I remembered the Shore Plaza from many years ago of eating below at both the old and new Sam’s Pizza. The booking process is done over the phone, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Upon arrival, you are greeted at the front desk by one of the friendly staff members to check in. We had what was considered their smallest room (one queen and sofa bed), which was more than enough room for two people. All rooms include one parking space, which is a major plus for being on the boardwalk. Housekeeping was friendly and came every morning to make up our room. The pool and jacuzzi are on the fourth floor are great and have a view of the beach and boardwalk. We went towards the beginning

First time staying a Shore Plaza and had the best experience. The folks that run Shore Plaza are the best, the handicap room was very clean. The view from our room was beautiful you can see for miles. Thank you for making our mini vacation stay so wonderful. Hope to see everyone very soon. Thank you,

Every time we got to Wildwood we love staying at the Shore Plaza hotel. With everything near by it’s plus large rooms and very clean. Love that we see the fireworks from our room. Great staff and great rooftop pool is certainly another plus…..

We stay here every year. Location can't be beat, right in the middle of the action. Sam's Pizza is on the bottom floor where we always get a "room pizza".
