Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport

Less than 10 mins drive to the airport, next to a big pond, lots hotels around and some restaurants within a few minutes walk. Nice sized room, a King bed and a couch that can be used as a sofa bed, good for a family of four. The pool is small but nice, half indoor and half outdoor. Overall, a pretty good hotel that has free shuttle to the airport.

I stayed at Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport for a weekend while in town for my kids’ soccer tournament. I chose this hotel because the suite layout looked great in the photos — I liked the idea of having a separate bedroom and living room so the kids could have their own TV and space. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the expectations. From the moment I arrived, it was clear the property feels run down compared to other hotels in the immediate area. The lobby and overall appearance just didn’t feel well maintained. At check-in, I was surprised to learn there is a $19 per day parking fee. I’ve stayed at many airport hotels and have never paid for parking unless I’m in a downtown area of a major city — and even then, $19 per day feels excessive. The room itself was underwhelming.

Rooms are a bit rundown but are fine for just staying overnight, but virtually zero soundproofing meant I could hear the lobby music through the walls while trying to sleep the entire night (it’s literally 24/7). Staff was fine checking in but didn’t seem terribly interested in helping after the fact. And they force you to use a terrible parking app rather than just being upfront about the fees and including it on your bill. The only real thing I’d recommend it for is the location, as it’s right down the road from the airport so great for crashing the night prior to the flight. The Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport is a solid choice for anyone needing a comfortable and convenient stay near the airport. From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly — check-in was efficient, the front desk staff were professional and friendly, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The suite itself was spotless and well-maintained, offering plenty of space to relax before an early flight. Despite being so close to the airport, airplane noise was not an issue at all, which was a pleasant surprise.
