Sheraton Broadway Resort Villas

I booked a room at this hotel for my 20th birthday and had a really frustrating experience. About a week before booking, my mom suggested I call the hotel to make sure I didn’t have to be 21 to reserve a room. I called and the man on the phone told me that you only had to be 18+ to book and check in. Based on that information, I went ahead and booked the room and gave my card information. My friends and I then drove two hours to Myrtle Beach to stay at the hotel. When we arrived at the property, we gave my last name at the gate and they let us in with no problem. However, when I went to the front desk and handed over my ID, the employee named Asher immediately asked if I had anyone with me who was 21. I said no and explained that I had called the hotel the week before and was told 18+ was

Our family has stayed at this hotel before back in 2019. Since then, we heard that Marriott bought the resort and remodeled it. But even with the remodel, calling this a 4 star hotel is a stretch. Upon arriving, the room was decent and was decently spacious. But after the first night, we started to notice a couple things. 1, none of the bedroom doors close and the locks on them are broken. 2, the toilets flush so loud that it’s a jump-scare every time. 3, upon arriving to the pool I saw that the deepest part of the pool wasn’t even 5 feet which was very disappointing (also the lazy river and hot tub were closed which was not on their website). 4, the workout room had not that much equipment except some treadmills, bikes, and weights. We loved staying at this resort. It was clean and had spacious units. The swimming pool area was clean and we loved the lazy river. We loved that we were close to Broadway on the Beach. There are many restaurants there as well as entertainment. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great for families and couples alike.

Location of this resort is excellent! This resort has a great pool area however the activities here are virtually non-existent. There’s a small activity center where there’s stuff for kids to do but not nearly as great as the activity centers in Orlando Florida. I visited this resort maybe 5 times with my kids and we’ve never attend because it just doesn’t seem as lively or entertaining. Mini golf is great though.
