Shelton Motel

When my girlfriend visited this place, it was a temporary motel to go to due to all the other hotels booked up. Found mold, in the bathroom ceiling, stains on the mattress box, and sheets. Ended up having multiple flies and insects in the room. My nose was so stuffy I had to leave and go back to my place. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Do not come here

Old musty, old bedspreads, dingy wash cloths and towels bugs that were painted over on the wall. Roach traps in the cabinets instead of cute little saucers and dishes. We couldn’t even stay. We talked to the owner and he wouldn’t give us a refund and we wouldn’t stay either.

This “motel” firstly has cockroaches, they do not wash blankets, do not use cleaning products , only thing they bring in rooms to clean is a broom and dust pan. I had to clean my own room, the “owners” have no respect for guests, they just walk in your room, i was about to shower as the older man just walked in my room . They do not treat you like a guest, they treat you as if you are trash. They yell, get ignorant, and snatch things out of your hand. I would not recommend. This motel honestly should be shut down. Toilets arnt attached , sinks woble , bars on the windows . Mold in the room i was in, when you leave the room unattended, 80% chance they are going into your room. Management is the worst ive seen. & im a housekeeper !!

From all the crazy reviews you would think about staying away from this place🤔🤔🤔🤔 but we pulled the trigger and rented a room anyway, I can honestly say it wasn't bad, I mean, there's a bed, microwave, tv, cable, refrigerator/freezer, stand up shower and decent size table. Room was clean, there was no roaches or mold, etc, there was a couple cigarette burns in the comforter, but that's no big deal. Other than that, I mean we didn't got here to hang out or live at the place, so just to sleep there is a no brainier, considering the cost of other places,

On the first night of check in my husband noticed how dirty the room was. Smelt musty, noticed a dead roach in desk drawer, a live roach inside microwave. Bathroom was disgusting bedding not washed, pillow cases had blood stains, floor not mopped I had to do that with my own cleaning supply's. Also me and my daughter were eaten up with bed bugs coming through both headboards for the 5 nights we stayed for which we payed in advance and never got a refund. Stay at your own risk.
