Flamingo Motel - Rio Grande

Me and my father have fell on hard times and are living here on a voucher and the hotel is decent, but the lady that owns the place went into my room while I wasn't there and stole my air fryer. She has stolen other things from other people and when confronted she yells at people. My friend tried to stop by and give me some money and she screamed at him in the parking lot and said we could only talk off the premises she takes liberties with how she treats their guests.

!!ROACHES!! Had to be here for a week with my son due to my lease ending and waiting for another place to open. Had to buy 3 cans of raid spray and cleaned the room myself as we don’t live like this, the Indian lady owner was insulted when I told her I did that. As a women she should be ashamed. The microwave is filled with roaches and if you use it more then once it starts to smoke. Fridge same thing. They also got this mysterious back door on the same wall as the bathroom mirror that no one can use that I know for a fact they go in and can listen and watch what we do. Blood Stains on the mattress didn’t use nothing they had in there took the sheets off used their towels as rug for bathroom, because everything in here is dirty!!! People outside arguing all day/night drug activity is heavy

This must be the worst hotel I've ever seen. Not only it looks as if it has never been cleaned cause it wasn't. Dirty sheets n blanket, smells ungodly like cat urine n spray , even human urine n in fact was all down the walls! Bathroom falling apart n hair n dirt scum mold all over. Broken air conditioner, broken fridge, n tv. As if this wasn't enough the roaches n bed bugs were the topper!!!! This place couldn't possibly be up to code it's a disgrace! They should be ashamed. Come to find out,most of their guests are there on vouchers threw social services, n I was informed that when a guest asked about the sheets n non working appliances the woman aka the owner stated your just a voucher. Basically implying that they didn't matter as if they were a piece of trash n making them feel uncomf

If your into the whole rehab setting, this place is for you. I give it 5 stars all day. The pool was closed, but its definitely still worth $250 a night. The staff was amazing! Thank you Flamingo motel!

If any one is thinking about staying at this motel. PLEASE DON’T!!!! I am not one to complain or write reviews at all! I booked this motel because the price seemed fair and the pictures provided seemed decent but when i got there it was a totally different story! The look in my kids eyes were fearful as we saw four people on the top balcony dipping out on drugs, there were needles on the ground of the property and it smelled like weed. As i went in to tell the lady what we see up on the balcony and to tell her i have kids with me and i do not want them to see or be in a environment like this while on vacation she looked at me and told me this isn’t her problem and walked away. I had to say excuse me is there a manager I can speak with and she told me no. I asked for a refund but since it w
