Shelterwood Lodge

Our family of 14 recently rented by the main lodge and cabin (immediately next door to each other) for an 8 night stay to use as our home base while exploring Yellowstone. We've rented luxury homes all over the world, and everyone said this was one of the best homes we've ever stayed in. *Location: Less than 10 minutes out of the town of West Yellowstone and the National Park entrance, but felt completely remote and private. The property is also located directly next to the West Yellowstone rodeo and the Diamond P ranch for horseback rides - both of which we really liked. *Spaces: Exceptionally well stocked homes. We have a serious chef in the family, and he said he had everything he needed and more for all the meals. There is plenty of space for all the groups to get together for meals,

Amazing Stay at Shelterwood Lodge! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Shelterwood Lodge! Our group of 10 rented both houses, and it was the perfect setup—spacious, comfortable, and incredibly convenient. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, checking in and making sure our stay was seamless. Their attentiveness truly made a difference! The property itself is beautiful, with direct access to snowmobile trails, which was a huge plus for our group. The kids had a blast sledding right at the house, and the surrounding winter scenery made for a perfect getaway. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up for guests.
