Shasta View Lodge

Lovely and roomy studio room with adequate kitchenette. I like #5 because it has two windows allowing more light. There is a more private seating area outside and around the corner. Bathroom is spacious, shower works great - though I didn’t like the sharp stream of the showerhead. Bed and sitting area along with chair very comfortable. Definitely stay here again.

This is such a great find! The beds are comfortable, the little kitchen is adequate for your needs. We were in cabin 4 this trip and I have stayed in Cabin 1. The bathroom in Cabin 4 is a bit small and with two beds there wasn't much room for suitcases and two people, but really it is a great place to stay. My only complaint is the the rooms are dark due to the dark floors, dark window coverings and few windows in each room. But it is a great place!

We had a two-night stay and were extremely pleased. Great location with a view of Mt. Shasta and a lot to do and see in the area. Really enjoyed seeing the town of McCloud. We stayed in Cabin 2. The room was clean and spacious, parking was convenient, everything was as it should be. The booking and check-in process couldn’t be easier with great communications from the host. We have family in the area and will be staying here again when we visit.

Great location with a view of Shasta from my front door, and a short drive to the waterfalls trailhead. Just stayed one night but found a well-stocked market across the street, a welcoming pizza pub in a barn next door (I didn't eat there but did peak in), and a very clean, quiet room with everything I needed. Comfortable bed too. Thank you!

We booked Cabin 6 at the last minute as a halfway point on a road trip. Everything was just as cute as the photos on the website. Spacious and well appointed, comfy bedding. There is no host on-site but messages were answered immediately. Easy walk to Main Street.
