Shamrock Inn

Room smelled like 3 year old gym socks left in plastic bag. Praying I did not pick any bugs or other infestation up from my stay 4/12/24. Women at front dest was very friendly but this is only positive thing I can say. Makes a dump look like a 5 star hotel.

The hotel says it is smoke free however the hallways stink of smoke. Room was okay. Very old and dated. Lobby looks like a furniture garage sale. Ice machine broken, soda machines out of order. Candy machine empty. All this for $115 a night -2 queens.

Bad,Bad,Bad. It was late in the evening and we had another 5 hour drive to get home ,we were tired and decided to stop for the night. There is no way we would ever recommend anyone staying here. Non smoking ?? Entrance and hallways were thick with the smell of smoke, Boxes and furniture filled the lounge/ breakfast area. No way to even have a cup of hot coffee. Breakfast was non existent. Keep driving!!!

When I visited this place it reminded me that life is all about the journey. ||Upon entering the hotel the first thing I noticed was Fox News on the lobby television. I’m a staunch liberal visiting a great friend who is Republican. This made for some witty banter with the innskeeper. ||The ice machine and vending machines were broken and there were boxes stacked in the lobby. The innskeeper lives on the premises and is summoned when you hit the remote bell at the desk. ||He’s got health problems but he’s working on them with some sort of cult new age elixer, also he’s a fellow Capricorn and as everyone knows we’ve been massively disadvantaged since it entered our star sign sixteen years ago. Now it’s transiting out of our planetary trajectory and we feel such relief. ||Long story

This place is a dump! Overpriced for a Monday night. The one ice machine is out of order as well as all the vending machines. They have furniture, tables, boxes stored in hallways. The front desk looks like they need some organizing skills as it is disgusting. There was no shampoo & conditioner in the room & the bar of soap was used & had dirt on it. My wife called about that as I was in the shower & was told it had to of been opened by us.
