I would just like to say that when I was a child I loved this wonderful week of revival. My mother would always have a different dress for me to wear to the worship services. This and my grandfather being a Baptist preacher instilled strong Christian faith in me. I thank this community in which I choose to spend my entire life with. I have never regretted it. I’m so thankful.

Shady Grove is a place that take you back into time

It was a great experience. I love to go every year to celebrate with family and friends. Wish it could be for two weeks instead of 🕜 one.

Haven't attended since 1989. But the memories are still near and dear to me. Especially those of getting off the school bus and playing football in the inner grounds. The man that use to blow the horn signifying church is about to begin. The great food. You could eat at every tent. The fire barrels at night. That was when October was cold. I could go on forever. Thank God it is still going strong.
