Shadow Acres Motel

The management is very rude. I was harassed during my stay about who I had in my room during the day. Because I only said two people would be staying in the room but my friend was visiting for a few hours. Lots of trash everywhere there. Definitely will not stay there under current management.

I have worked construction for 45 years and have to stay in a motel on occasions. This place by far is the worse place I have ever stayed , I don’t understand how anyone can give it more than 1 star the only reason I gave it a 1 star is because there was not a zero. It was dirty I mopped the floor 4 times and could still wipe a paper towel 3 inches on the floor and it would still get a black mark on the paper. I had to ask for a shower curtain because it had mold on it. I paid for a week but only was there 5 nights , I left there and paid $ 130.00 a night at a bed and breakfast until I found a house. When I paid the lady at the front desk she said honey this ain’t the Hilton but it’s clean. I had to wash all my clothes that hung on the hangers in that room to get the smell from that place

Dirty walls,curtains,smelly.Bathtub drain backed up.Table dirty and sticky,poor lighting.||"Housekeeping service" I use this term loosely,rehung my wet towels on towel rack to be reused instead of replacing.Screen door had half of screen missing.Bed sagging badly.Small room in office "lounge" reeked of cigarettes! The air conditioner did work well. ||Terrible Place

Every single thing is amazing at this motel, quite little country setting and rooms. Miss Gina is oh so sweet and one of the most precious ladies I've ever met, she is truly a shinning light in this world going above and beyond what she really has to. Would very much recommend this motel over the other in town The Embassy Inn (which is not recommended).

It's rustic and comfortable. Not right in the middle of things, but not far away either.
