Shadetree Inn B&B

This place is magical. We stayed in the Loft and had an amazing time. The way the sunlight filters through the trees and into the skylights and windows is beauty beyond words. The host was very accommodating, and the grounds were well kept. Can't wait to come back again!

I loved my stay at the Shadetree. The Gardener's cottage was charming and peaceful. I loved all the stained glass windows and view overlooking a beautiful yard full of birds. Such special touches throughout my stay including delicious treats left quietly by the kind proprietor. The cheese ball was phenomenal! Best of all it was quiet. I live (reluctantly) in the city and this delightful place was a serene escape.

We stayed here for one night. It was very rustic & romantic. We enjoyed the cozy & quiet atmosphere. I wish it wouldn’t have been so hot outside, we would’ve enjoyed the fire out & landscape more. But it was all very beautiful & the accommodations were great! My favorite parts were the hot tub built for 2 (equipped with bath salts) & Mimosas to drink! The owner & housekeeper were so nice! We’ll definitely be coming back in cooler weather to enjoy this place a little more.

So glad I found this place when searching places in St Francisville for my husband and I to stay. We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage and everything was perfect. The views of nature were great just sitting on the sofa(squirrels and birds right there) At dusk, We were even able watch a few deer eating at the bottom of the hill. Drinks by the fire was a plus. Owner KW is a nice man and enjoyed meeting him. Oh and the homemade goodies in the room were yummy. If we are back in that area we will surely stay again and definitely recommend it!!

We are locals to the area, but had our floors refinished and the smell drove us out. We booked a night at the Shade Tree. The owner made us feel so welcome and pampered, we stayed a second night. This place is magical. We stayed in the Gardener's Cottage and absolutely adored it and every little detail was taken care of. Our son loved the rope swing and the grounds for hiking. We will definitely come back in the fall!
