Serenity Now mountain cabin, Leatherwood Mountains resort, Ferguson, NC

This place is awesome! The cabin is beautiful! There are so many details that make this cabin exceptional. The decor is lovely, the coffee bar is stocked with all kinds of drinks, comfortably beds, hot tub, and amazing views just to name a few things! The resort has all kinds of fun things to do, and there are several cute towns just a few miles away. I can't say enough about this awesome cabin. On top of all this, you can bring your horses and have them stay in a barn and paddock just steps away behind the cabin! The barn has large stalls and a tack room. The cabin and barn were immaculately clean and the gated entrance made us feel safe! I can't wait to go back!

My friends and I just got back from an amazing vacation at Serenity Now. The cabin is super cozy and very well-appointed. Downstairs has a bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. The living room has a super comfy leather futon and 2 really nice leather recliners. Upstairs has a daybed, another full bathroom, and a primary bedroom with a king size bed. The cabin is super clean and has so many cool extra features - like the coffee bar, a brand new hot tub, and a fire pit! The cabin has porches galore…so many places to take a cup of coffee (or glass of vino) and a good book and get away for some quiet time to enjoy the peaceful woods. Had such a great time at this cabin with friends! The place was beautiful, and you can tell the host thought of everything – we had everything we needed and then some. We spent hours just chilling in the hot tub and hanging out on the screened-in porch, which was perfect for keeping the bugs out while we enjoyed the view. Overall, just a super relaxing and fun spot. Would definitely come back!

Spent a few days at Serenity Now with some girlfriends this week. The cabin is so cozy and peaceful! There was plenty of room for us and our four horses, and the cabin was truly stocked with everything you need! There were games and books inside (plus a big TV and great internet if you want to stay connected), a well-apportioned coffee bar, and outside activities like a fire pit and axe-throwing set up. Lots of seating options from a regular dining table inside to the Adirondack chairs and dining table on the screen porch, to the lower deck amongst the trees. I cooked and baked in the kitchen, but it's not far to town if you prefer to go out to a nice dinner. The trails were lovely to ride, and I feel like we barely scratched the surface of enjoying Leatherwood's multitude of amenities!

We such an amazing time at Serenity Now! The place was incredibly nice and spotlessly clean. I absolutely loved the stunning views and the charming path that led down to the porch, and the axe throwing setup was a ton of fun. The floating Uno cards were such a delightful and creative touch! I highly recommend this cabin.
