Blue Ridge Ranch

Our family recently stayed at Blue Ridge Ranch, and it ended up being one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. I’ll be honest—I did not want to go at first. My family begged me to do the evening feeding experience with the farmer, and I reluctantly agreed. I am so glad they convinced me. Going out with the farmer to feed the animals at night was truly magical. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the land, the animals, and the history behind the property. You can feel how much care and love goes into everything they do there. By the end of the trip, not only was I completely won over, but we were all talking about when we could come back. A beautiful drive down Mt Zion road to Blue Ridge Ranch set the stage for an outstanding camping experience. With 440 acres of NC mountain property, the space and views are stunning. We camped in a 26' class A motorhome and our son in a hybrid trailer on two of the BRR new RV sites. They were mostly level with power and water. The Outpost store provided fresh eggs, ranch raised chicken, local honey, roasted coffee and lots of home made sauces. With 5 stocked ponds and lots of trails there is plenty to do. Our granddaughters loved the tour in the military truck and all the farm animals. Troy, Nanette and Isaac made sure our stay was comfortable. We will return!

This is a beautiful, rustic, and relaxing campground! The owners and staff are just all kinds of wonderful, incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. Gravel pads are relatively level with FHU, we have a 5th wheel and had no issue with leveling. The ranch offers a few tours…TAKE ONE! We did the tour that allows for up close and personal contact with the pigs and chickens, etc… including feeding them! Troy, one of the owners, is a great guide and provides the full story of the ranch and the wonderful boys camp they offer! He will answer any and all questions so don’t be shy! This is a place touched by the hands of God in every way, we will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend trip at Blue Ridge Ranch. We were later than planned arriving and Troy was able to check us in and get us safely to our campsite. We have a 43’ fifth wheel and had no problem maneuvering in the campground. Our kids enjoying fishing and there is lots of space to safely explore. When we were leaving we bought some wagyu beef to cook at home. Amazing steaks!!!!

A few of us dads took a group of boys to camp at Blue Ridge Ranch this past weekend. Our experience was excellent!!! Everyone fell in love with the place. Nanette and Troy and their awesome team were so gracious and hospitable and really made our time at the ranch a wonderful and memorable experience. The boys had a blast and all the dads remarked they couldn't wait to bring their own families back to the ranch. From the fishing ponds and mountain streams to the autumn colored appalachian foothills that surround it, this place is such a majestic and beautiful place to stay. We felt so blessed to spend a weekend with our boys in such an amazing place nestled in the mountains, and felt so cared for with the best hospitality a group of campers could hope for.
